BBQ – Wednesday 16th July – On the Beach
(Updated at 4:30pm) Akela has decided that as the weather forecast is good from 6pm, the BBQ will go ahead as planned on the beach. Please bring wet weather gear just in case – you can use it to sit on if the sun comes out! 6pm-8:30pm.
WW1 Exhibition/Special Service Time Change
Please note that the start time for the Parade and Service on Sunday 6th has changed. Group will meet in full smart uniform at Lamphey Church at 9:15am, with parade starting at 9:30am. Service will start at 10am at the School, with pickup at the School afterwards around 10:45.
Kit Store – Check it out
Online Scout Manager also have a small Kit Store where they sell tried and tested equipment. For every purchase, OSM donate up to 10% back into Lamphey Scout Group funds. If you are in the market for anything from a flask to a head torch please check it out when shopping around. Any funds raised go towards events and equipment for the group.

Sunday Parade – 11th May – Photos
A big thank you to all those who turned out for parade on Sunday (a very cool blustery day, but at least it was dry). It was an impressive sight with the flags, uniforms, and fire engine!
County Swimming Gala Results
Huge congratulations to the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who all took part in the County Swimming Gala today. First for the Beavers and joint first for the Cubs and Scouts! Amazing result! Pictures to follow…..
Chief Scout Awards
Congratulations to all the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who were presented with their Bronze, Silver and Gold Chief Scouts awards recently.
Hockey Success!
Congratulations to all those who took part in the Hockey Tournament last weekend.
4th Pembroke (Lamphey) Scouts came 2nd overall – a great result considering the limited practise time! Well done!
Lamphey Scouts interviewed for S4C
Lewis Clegg and Rachel Jones were fortunate enough to be interviewed recently by S4C at our local community wood where Pembroke 21C have been digging out some new ponds. They quite happily chatted away with the presenter Dafydd who was very impressed with their language skills and their enthusiasm for pond dipping. The Scout group will be using Holyland Wood as their case study for obtaining their Naturalist Badge.
