Lamphey Church Bulb Planting Cancelled

Bulb planting has been cancelled today Saturday 12th Feb due to the weather.

The Scout Leaders would still like to hike from Lamphey so if Scouts could meet outside Lamphey Hall at 2pm then hike to Foundry House (Kit will be transported separately in a van to keep it dry).  Grace will send out an email at 12 midday to confirm  – or advise of any change of plan – but the Scout Sleepover WILL still go ahead.

Pembs Virtual Camp 2020

The area team have been busy working behind the scenes to bring you the programme for #PembsCamp2020 to be held 18th & 19th July.  You will find the programme packed full of exciting activites, skills for life and challenges, available to download via the Parent Portal.  The hope is for members of every group and unit in the area to come together ‘virtually’ and enjoy what Pembrokeshire Scouts still has to offer.

During the weekend, a range of online platforms will be used in order to reach out to as many members and potential members throughout the Area and possibly further afield.  There will be ‘Pembrokeshire own’ activities and details of these along with Zoom joining instructions will be sent out to leaders to circulate before the event.

Keep an eye out for some familiar faces dropping in over the weekend and we hope that you will be able to join in the fun.

Cubs Meeting @ Freshwater East on Wed 14th Sept

We are holding our Cub Meeting on Freshwater East Beach tomorrow.  We will meet in the Car Park at 6pm and make our way onto the beach for 6.15 start (normal time).   We will be fire lighting and cooking marshmallows, Cubs must wear neckerchiefs, with weather appropriate clothing.  It is forecast to be a sunny day tomorrow so fingers crossed we have made the right decision.  The Cubs WILL NOT be allowed in the sea.   Parents will be welcome to stay if they wish – otherwise we will finish around 7.30 (normal time).
