Please remember that the bus for Cardiff will be departing from the Scout Hall in Lamphey at 8am promptly so please aim to arrive a little before 8am. Expected return time is 8pm but Pat will contact parents if this changes significantly.

Cubs Meeting @ Freshwater East on Wed 14th Sept
We are holding our Cub Meeting on Freshwater East Beach tomorrow. We will meet in the Car Park at 6pm and make our way onto the beach for 6.15 start (normal time). We will be fire lighting and cooking marshmallows, Cubs must wear neckerchiefs, with weather appropriate clothing. It is forecast to be a sunny day tomorrow so fingers crossed we have made the right decision. The Cubs WILL NOT be allowed in the sea. Parents will be welcome to stay if they wish – otherwise we will finish around 7.30 (normal time).
Cub Fun Day 11th June @ Builth Wells
For all those attending the Cub Fun Day in Builth Wells on Saturday 11th June, please make sure you read the attached letter carefully. Please be at Lamphey Village Hall on Saturday by 7:15am. If you haven’t already paid for the bus, please bring along your £10. Make sure you have your Rucksack with all the essentials for the day.
Directions to St Govans Car Park, Bosherston
For those going climbing with the Cubs on Wednesday 8th July, please meet at St Govans Car Park, Bosherston. Head through Bosherston village and follow the road out the other side. Keep going until you can’t go any further. Park in the car park at the end.
Entertainment and AGM – Wed 17th June (6pm)
All parents and guardians are invited and encouraged to attend an Entertainment Evening and Annual General Meeting at Lamphey Village Hall at 6pm on Wednesday 17th June in place of all normal meetings. The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will be providing entertainment. Come along and learn about all the things we have planned for the different sections, and see a slideshow of this years many activities.
Cubs Cheeky Monkey Challenge – update
Please be aware that, due to a funeral taking place in the hall on the 6th May, we will be in the hall on Wednesday 29th April (normal time), and in Angle on 6th May 5pm-7pm for a joint activity with the Beavers including BBQ (parent help required).
St Georges Day Parade – 26th April
This year’s St Georges Day Parade will take place in Haverfordwest on 26th April. Please make every effort to attend. Full smart uniform to be worn. Please arrive no later than 2:15pm as Parade will move off at 2:30pm. For full details please follow link.
Easter Bingo – Wed 1st April 2015 – 6pm
We will be holding a fundraising Bingo Event on Wednesday 1st April 2015 at Lamphey Village Hall.
Refreshments and entertainment will be provided.
Raffle prizes including this Hotel Chocolat Egg (small eggs for adults only!).
All family and friends welcome.
Doors open 6pm. Eyes down 6:30pm.
Group Bonfire – Wednesday 5th November
This Wednesday 5th November there will be a Group Bonfire at Ruth’s farm near Cresselly (SA67 8AW) 6pm-8pm. You will need wellies/strong shoes, warm clothes/waterproofs, torches, and a mug if you want soup. Hotdogs will be available. NO FIREWORKS due to animals. Directions below. Car sharing will help reduce congestion if you can organise amongst yourselves. Parents and siblings welcome.
BBQ – Wednesday 16th July – On the Beach
(Updated at 4:30pm) Akela has decided that as the weather forecast is good from 6pm, the BBQ will go ahead as planned on the beach. Please bring wet weather gear just in case – you can use it to sit on if the sun comes out! 6pm-8:30pm.
